You conjure a lance made from blood forming a line 60 feet long and 5 feet wide out from you in a direction you choose. Each creature in the line must make a Dexterity saving throw. A creature takes 3d10 damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. You can use either your own blood, or that of someone else. When using your own blood, you take 1d10 necrotic damage to conjure the lance. If there is a corpse or a willing creature within 5 feet of you, the damage can be transferred to them instead (corpses won't take damage).
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the damage increases by 1d10 for each slot above 2nd. The damage you take increases by 1d10 for every 2 spell slots above 2nd (2d10 at 4th, 3d10 at 6th, 4d10 at 8th)
