You blink out of existence and then reappear nearby. The path directly between you and the space where you wish to teleport cannot contain any obstructions, such as a door or the iron bars of a prison cell, and if the spot where you wish to teleport is within melee range of a creature, you may immediately use your reaction after teleporting to make a melee weapon attack with advantage. While you cast this spell, hostile creatures within melee range may use their reaction to make a melee weapon attack, which also prevents you from teleporting when you are hit.
Roll a d6 when you cast this spell:
- 1-2. Choose a spot 5 feet from your current position.
- 3-4. Choose a spot either 5 or 10 feet from your current position.
- 5-6. Choose a spot either 5, 10, or 15 feet from your current position.
If you wish to remain where you are after rolling the d6, you may choose not to teleport. Choosing to not teleport prevents any creatures within melee range from taking an opportunity attack, but you will have used your bonus action to cast the spell.
