Castigation

You pronounce divine judgment upon a creature you can see within range. Unless it makes a successful Charisma saving throw, the creature  takes 1d8 psychic damage as it is forced to contemplate its past deeds. At the DM's discretion, this may cause a creature to remember things previously blocked from its memory through trauma or memory modification. 

You can voluntarily reduce the damage of this spell by any amount, to a minimum of 1 point. A creature reduced to 0 HP by this spell is automatically stable.

The spell’s damage increases by 1d8 when you reach 5th level (2d8), 11th level (3d8), and 17th level (4d8).
