Antiflight Field

You touch a point and infuse an area around it with abjuration magic. The area can be a Line 10 feet wide and up to 100 feet long, or have a Radius up to 60 feet. The affected area is subject to the following effects.

Spells and other magical effects that offer a Fly Speed, except those created by an Artifact or a deity, are suppressed in the area. A slot expended to cast a suppressed spell is consumed. While an effect is suppressed, it doesn't function, but the time it spends suppressed counts against its duration.

Targeted Effects. Spells and other magical effects, such as Fly and Levitate, that target a creature or an object in the sphere to make it hover, levitate, hover, or fly have no effect on that target.

Magic Items. Magic items that grant a power of levitation or flight are suppressed in the area (example Winged Boots or Broom of Flying).

Magical Travel. Teleportation (Misty Step, Dimension Door, Teleport and the like) fail to work in the area, whether the area is the destination or the departure point for such magical travel. The spell does not prevent astral, ethereal, or planar travel. 

Winged creatures. A winged creature attempting to fly in the area for the first time on its turn must make a Strength saving throw. On a failed save, it takes 10 (3d6) force damage from invisible strips of energy. The creature's speed is reduced to 0, and it falls. On a successful save, the creature takes no damage, it doesn't fall, but it must repeat the saving throw again for each 10 feet of flying movement. 

Dispel Magic. The Antiflight Field is suppressed for 1 minute if a Dispel Magic successfully targets the area.
