You thrust the wooden stake into fertile ground and a tree springs into existence, hosting a spacious hollow in its densely woven canopy of branches and leaves. The tree is 60 feet tall and has a 5-foot-diameter trunk, and its branches at the top spread out in a 20-foot radius. The spell ends if you leave the sanctuary of the hollow.
Nine creatures of Medium size or smaller can fit inside the hollow with you. The spell fails if its area includes a larger creature or more than nine creatures. Creatures you choose when you cast this spell can move into the hollow freely. All other creatures and objects are barred from passing through it. Spells and other magical effects can't extend into the hollow or be cast through it. The atmosphere inside the space is comfortable and dry, regardless of the weather outside.
Until the spell ends, you can command the interior to become dimly lit or dark. The small gaps between the densely woven branches are opaque from the outside, of any color you choose, but it is transparent from the inside.
Any creature in the hollow falls when the spell ends.
