Bowstaff

You touch the bow, which takes on the rigidity and toughness of forged steel, allowing it to be used as a melee weapon. This spell allows a shortbow to be used as a club or a longbow to be used as a quarterstaff. Any enhancement bonuses on the bow also apply to your melee attacks with the bow. Additionally, any special qualities possessed by the bow (through magic or other features) extend to the staff, as long as they are compatible with melee combat.

While affected by this spell, the bow can still be used as a ranged weapon.
