Arcane Reconstruction

You touch an area sprinkled with the gem dust used to cast this spell causing an event you believe to have happened in the area to spring to life. You focus an the event that you believe to have happened within the past year at the location of casting. If the event did happen or similar event happened then all creature that were present at that time are magically recreated in a space of the DM's choosing. These recreations are illusions that mimic sounds, smells, and temperature appropriate to the thing depicted. You can't create sufficient heat or cold to cause damage, a sound loud enough to deal thunder damage or deafen a creature, or a smell that might sicken a creature (like a troglodyte's stench).

For the duration or until whatever event was conceived upon casting has finished these magical recreation perfectly mimic the actions of the creature that took part in the event. You may move within the casting area and inspect the recreation without interrupting the spell. However you may not interact with such illusion or search for something that can't be found on the exterior of the person. (For example you can't search for a key concealed on a hidden part of the person as you would just pass through). 

Physical interaction with the image reveals it to be an illusion, because things can pass through it. A creature that uses its action to examine the image can determine that it is an illusion with a successful Intelligence (Investigation) check against your spell save DC. If a creature discerns the illusion for what it is, the creature can see through the recreations, and its other sensory qualities become faint to the creature.
