You unleash a sound to repel foes that grows stronger as time goes on. Each creature in a 15-foot Cone originating from you makes a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 2d8 Thunder damage and is pushed 10 feet away from you. On a successful save, a creature takes half as much damage only and isn't pushed.
On subsequent turns you can use an action to force creatures within the spell's range to repeat the saving throw, and the damage increases by 1d8. This damage increase is cumulative and can be increased a maximum number of times equal to your spellcasting modifier. Once the damage increases reaches the maximum possible amount, the spell ends.
In addition, if another spellcaster has cast this spell or uses its effect on a previous turn this round, the damage automatically increases by 1d8. This increase counts towards the maximum amount of times this spell's damage can be increased.
Using a Higher-Level Spell Slot. The spell's base damage increases by 1d8 for each spell slot level above 2. Additionally, the number of creatures within the spell's radius you can choose to be unaffected increases by 1 for each spell slot above 2nd.
