Aetherial Rapture

Description

Aetherial Rapture unleashes a wave of illusionary energy, creating a dazzling display of light and sound that confuses and disorients creatures within a 60-foot radius centered on a point you choose. Creatures in the area must make a Wisdom saving throw or be subjected to the following effects:

Illusory Effects:

• Disorienting Mirage: On a failed save, a creature perceives illusory duplicates of themselves and their allies. They have disadvantage on attack rolls and ability checks for the duration.
• Echoing Dissonance: Each affected creature hears echoes of their own voice, creating confusion. When they take damage, they must roll a d4 and subtract that number from the damage taken, as they are momentarily lost in the cacophony of sound.
• Phantom Assailants: At the start of each of its turns, a creature must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or perceive a phantom creature (illusion) that attempts to attack them. The phantom uses your spellcasting modifier as its attack bonus, dealing 3d10 psychic damage on a hit.

Aura of Illusion:

While the spell is active, the area is filled with swirling illusions and distortions. You and your allies within the area gain advantage on saving throws against being frightened or charmed. Additionally, enemies in the area must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw to target you or your allies with attacks or spells.

Ending the Spell:

At the end of each of your turns, you may choose to maintain or dismiss the spell. Dismissing the spell ends all effects immediately. If the spell is maintained, you can change the point of origin for the illusory effects each round.
