Assimilating force

A creature you touch becomes enhanced with this spell.
When that creature rolls for damage when attacking with a weapon, it may add a 1d4 necrotic damage. The same creature then also regains that exact amount of hit points.
After having used this ability, it dissipates.

Using a Higher-Level Spell Slot. The dice increases by 1d4 for each spell slot level above 1.
