Cordyceptic Infection

When a non-elemental, non-undead creature dies within 60 ft. of you, you may use your reaction to infect it's corpse with a highly advanced magical Cordycept Fungus. The creature immediately returns to life with 30 Hit Points, under your control. It is now considered to be an Undead creature, and takes it turn immediately after yours. Unless you use a bonus action to command it to do otherwise, it only takes the Dodge action on it's turn. If you command the creature to cast a spell, you must make an Arcana Check first, where the DC is equal to 10 + 2 * The Spells Level (cantrips count as level 1). If you succeed, the Cordycepted creature casts the spell on its turn. On a failure, the Cordycepted creature fails the cast, wasting its action and the required spell slot.

When concentration on this spell ends, any creatures raised by it immediately die. If another creature dies within 60 ft. of the cordycepted creature while you are concentrating on this spell, you may use your reaction to raise that creature immediately (as per the above rules) by bursting your currently Cordycepted creature, causing it to die immediately. When you do this, refresh the duration of this spell.

Raising a creature does not ensure that you know what it can do- the DM may rule that you do not know what actions it can take other than the ones you have seen, or may demand that you pass an Investigation, Religion, Nature, or History check of the DM's choice as an action to determine one or all of the abilities or spells this creature knows. The difficulty of the check is at the discretion of the DM.

At Higher Levels: increase the Hit Points of the raised creature by 10 for level above 6 that this spell was cast at.
