The next time you hit a creature with a weapon attack before this spell ends, the weapon coats itself in blood. The next attack deals 4d4 Bleed damage, and causes the target at the start of each of its turn to take 2d4 Bleed Damage.
Bleed Damage. Bleed damage is a non Physical Status-Like Damage Type. Creatures without Blood or similar Blood like substances are immune to Bleed damage (Most Constructs and Skeletons for example). Can be swapped out for regular Piercing damage if desired. Bleed Damage can be removed by making a successful Wisdom (Medicine) Check as an action. Be wary, as Bleed Damage can Stack.
At Higher Level. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the extra damage increases by 2d4 for each slot level above 2nd.
