Bhaal's Embrace

Invoke the will of the Dread Lord to summon unholy blades that burst from the flesh of up to 8 creatures you can see within range.

The targeted creatures must make a constitution saving throw or take 6d8 piercing damage and 4d8 necrotic damage and become stunned for 3 rounds as the blades suspend them in the air. On a successful save the target takes half as much damage and doesn't become stunned. On each following turn without losing concentration you may cast the spell again on 4 targets without using a spell slot. These free casts do 2d8 less piercing damage and 2d8 less necrotic damage.

At higher levels. When you cast this spell using a 9th level spell slot you add an extra 2d8 piercing damage and 2d8 necrotic damage.
