You create an invisible wall of magic on the ground at a point you can see within range. You can make the wall up to 40 feet long, 20 feet high, and 1 foot thick, or you can make a curved wall up to 30 feet in diameter, 20 feet high, and 1 foot thick. The wall vanishes when the spell ends. The wall’s space is impassable by magic.
Magic spells either dealing AOE ( Exp: Fireball ) or single target ( Exp: Firebolt, Magic Missile ) are completely blocked and deal Zero damage, although attacks that deal, Slashing, Piercing or Bludgeoning can pass through this magic shield without resistance. The caster Is unable to move for the duration of the spell and is therefore open to physical attacks unless protected by the party. This spell can be lifted off the ground up to 10 feet high.
Breath Attacks from monsters of a CR of 8 and lower will be blocked completely by this spell, attacks from creatures with a CR of 9 and 10 will deal damage at disadvantage. Breath attacks from CR's of 11 or higher will pass through this spell with no resistance.
