You target the corpse of a creature that still have flesh and that isn't affected by the Gentle Repose spell. Each creature in a 5-foot Emanation centered on that corpse must make a Dexterity saving throw, taking 2d8 Thunder damage on a failed save or half as much on a success. The corpse is destroyed if it is not a creature.
If the corpse that you target is an Undead creature that has the Undead Fortitude trait (like a zombie), the creature makes a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the creature takes 2d8 Thunder damage, it is Prone, and the Undead Fortitude trait is not triggered by this damage. On successful save, the creature takes half the damage and creatures around the zombie have Advantage on their Dexterity saving throw against this spell's blast.
The radius and damage changes depending on the size of the corpse or the Undead creature, increasing by 5ft and 1d8 for each size category larger than medium.
Using a Higher-Level Spell Slot. You can target one additional corpse or Undead creature for each spell slot level above 1.
