The primary function of this spell is converting up to 1 gallon of pure, clean drinking water into wine. The spell fails if the water is dirty, poisoned, or otherwise unsafe to drink.
You can also convert the water in a creature’s body into wine. A creature you touch makes a Constitution saving throw, taking 4d6 Poison damage on a failed save or half as much damage on a successful one. A creature that fails their save is also poisoned. A creature can repeat the save at the end of their next turn, ending the condition on a success.
Using a Higher-Level Spell Slot. The quantity of water affected increases by 1 gallon, and the damage increases by 1d6 for each spell slot level above 1.
