You unleash a belly burning belch at each creature and object in a 10-foot Cone in front of you, applying the Burning Belch effect to them for the duration. The caster is also afflicted with the Heartburn effect upon casting.
Burning Belch Effect. For up to 3 rounds or until extinguished, affected creatures make a Dexterity saving throw. If the saving throw fails, that creature takes 1d4 Fire damage. If the saving throw succeeds, that creature does a stop, drop and roll to extinguish the effect, but it leaves them with the Prone condition for 1 round.
Heartburn Effect. This effect lasts until the next Short Rest, Long Rest or until consuming something soothing to the stomach, like mint tea or crackers. With the exception of soothing consumables, any time the creature with Heartburn eats or drinks, roll a DC 10 Constitution check. If the check is failed, replace the Heartburn effect with the Poisoned condition.
Counters. If casting is countered, interrupted or reacted to, instead of successfully casting, the caster consumes the flammable liquid component, and any effects caused by this consumable now apply to the caster.
Improvised Weapon. This is considered a physical improvised weapon attack rather than a magical spell.
