You improvise a beautiful song or poem, drawing on the deepest wellsprings of your thoughts and emotions. Any creature within 10 feet of you that can hear you gains temporary hit points equal to 4d10 + your spellcasting ability modifier, unless it is an undead or a construct. Additionally, any hostile creature within that radius must make a Wisdom saving throw, becoming charmed by you on a failed save. A creature charmed in this way remains charmed until the spell ends or it takes damage.
The behavior of a charmed creature when the spell ends is influenced by how you treated it while it was charmed. A creature you attacked, or who otherwise had substantial reason to continue being hostile toward you, might attack you. Otherwise, the creature feels indifferent or friendly toward you due to the inspiring nature of your performance.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, the temporary hit points it grants increases by 1d10 for each slot level above 4th.
