This variant of Dimension Door allows for a return trip.
You or a willing creature touched teleport to any other spot within range. The target arrives at exactly the spot desired. It can be a place you can see, one you can visualize, or one you can describe by stating distance and direction.
The target can bring along objects as long as their weight doesn’t exceed their carrying capacity. If the target would arrive in a place already occupied by an object or a creature, the target takes 4d6 force damage and is not teleported.
At any time before the spell ends, the target can use a bonus action to whisper a command word and teleport back to its original location at the time of the spell’s casting, after which the spell ends. If the spell ends early, the return teleport does not occur.
Using a Higher-Level Spell Slot. The spell does not require concentration if you use a 6th-level or higher spell slot, and you can send two creatures. Both return at the same time when either uses their bonus action to return.
