Favored Target: Once per full moon the user can designate a set species to be the target of this spell. The targeted species receives an additional 3d8 damage upon being hit.
A brilliant streak of light flashes forward from the caster in either a focused beam or a volley of jolting attacks.
Focused: A beam of light forming a line 60 feet long and 5 feet wide blasts out from you in your chosen direction. The target must make a Dexterity saving throw. The target takes 4d8 + 30 radiant damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
Volley: You create a burst of gleaming orbs and hurl them at targets within range. You can hurl them at one target or several. The targets must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save the targets take 10d8 radiant divided evenly between them, or half as much on a successful one.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, increase the damage increases by 2d8 for the focused attack and 3d8 for the volly.
