"A phantasmal beast of Shadow, a shape never quite solid, as if it is woven from darkness itself appears at your feet, its form indeterminate. The shadowy apparition slithers and coils on the ground. Striking with a single, chilling blow that drains the life from its victim. After dealing necrotic damage, the figure slips back into the void, leaving no trace but a lingering darkness. However, if the wraith’s strike is fatal, both it and the creature dissolve into shadow, leaving behind an ominous fog cloud that clings to the spot where the creature fell."
