Each creature within range that is aware of your presence and can speak a language must make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, a number of effects happen to its mind for the duration:

1. It suddenly believes that you, the caster, were born out of wedlock.

2. Children born out of wedlock are now morally reprehensible to it.

3. If it believes you are in the same area as it, it will be compelled to spend all its energy to mock you, spurn you, and try to make you leave, without resorting to physical violence.

If an affected creature can no longer see or hear you, it can repeat the saving throw at the end of its turn. On a successful save, effects 2 and 3 end: It no longer feels compelled to mock, spurn, or remove you, and its opinion on children born out of wedlock returns to its initial state. Effect number 1, however, cannot be removed with anything less than a Greater Restoration spell.

Creatures that can't be charmed are immune to this effect.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a 7th-level spell slot, the duration is 10 days. When you use an 8th-level spell slot, the duration is 30 days. When you use a 9th-level spell slot, the duration is a year and a day.
