Infernal Chains (Aatrox W)

You hurl a shard of obsidian that strikes a creature you can see within range, dealing 1d8 fire damage on impact. Chains of infernal energy erupt from the ground, binding the target and reducing its movement speed by half. If the target moves more than 20 feet away from the initial contact point, the chains shatter, and the spell ends.

If the target is still bound at the start of your next turn, it is forcibly pulled back to the point of impact and takes an additional 2d8 fire damage.

Using a Higher-Level Spell Slot. The damage increases by 1d8 for both the initial and the pullback damage for each spell slot level above 2.
