You open a minor rift to plane known as The Beastlands and channel the raw essence of elephants into yourself or an ally. The spell allows the target creature to temporarily gain the traits and power of elephants, fortifying their strength and resilience.

Upon casting the spell, choose a creature within range. The target absorbs the mystical energy of elephants, gaining the following benefits for the duration:

  1. Hardened Hide: The target gains temporary hit points equal to 4d8 + your spellcasting ability modifier. While these hit points remain, the target has resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage from non-magical attacks.

  2. Trampling Charge: If the target moves at least 20 feet straight toward a creature and then hits it with a melee attack on the same turn, that creature must succeed on a Strength saving throw or be knocked prone. The DC for this saving throw is equal to your spell save DC. If the creature is knocked prone, the target can make an additional melee attack against it as a bonus action.

  3. Elephantine Strength: The target’s Strength score becomes 22 if it was lower than 22. This effect does not stack with other magical effects that alter Strength scores.

  4. Trumpet of Terror: As a bonus action, the target can release a thunderous trumpet that can be heard up to 300 feet away. Each creature of the caster’s choice within 15 feet of the target must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC or be frightened until the end of their next turn.

At Higher Levels:

When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, the temporary hit points increase by 1d8 for each slot level above 4th.
