You mark a creature you can see within range and channel power into your ranged weapon, preparing a devastating barrage. While channeling, your movement speed is halved, and you cannot take any actions, bonus actions, or reactions other than maintaining the channel. You release the channel at the end of your turn. (You may not take an action or bonus action in the turn you release the channel.)
- 1 Turn (Cast and Release): If you release after 1 turn, you fire 2 bolts.
- 2 Turns: If you release after 2 turns, you fire 5 bolts.
- 3 Turns (Full Duration): If you release after 3 turns, you fire 9 bolts.
Make a ranged attack roll for each bolt, using your proficiency bonus and spellcasting ability modifier. On a hit, a bolt deals damage equal to your ranged weapon’s damage plus 1d8 force damage. Any on-hit effects you have are also added (e.g. Hunter's Mark). If a bolt is intercepted by another creature or object before reaching the marked target, it deals its damage to the blocking entity instead.
* - (a ranged weapon, which is not consumed)
