Until the spell ends, sleet falls in a 40-foot-tall, 20-foot-radius Cylinder centered on a point you choose within range. The area is Lightly Obscured, and exposed flames in the area are doused.

Ground in the Cylinder is Difficult Terrain. When a creature enters the Cylinder for the first time on a turn or starts its turn there, it must succeed on a constitution saving throw or have their AC lowered by 1D4, determined at the beginning of casting. 

Every round a creature remains in the spells effective range; the creature must make additional constitution saving throws. After the initial effect, if repeated saves are failed, the affected creature will have its AC lowered by 1 every failed save to a .

The effect ends if the creature leaves the spell's range or if the spell ends.

Initial AC lost increases to 1D6 when cast at spell level 4, 1D8 at level 6, and 1D10 at level 8.
