Bolting

You send a bolt of lightning into the air and down onto a creature of your choice within range, make a ranged spell attack against the target, ignoring half and three-quarters cover. On a hit the target takes 6d8 Lightning damage, if the attack misses the target takes half damage. On a critical hit only half the damage dice are doubled (rounded down).
At Higher Levels:
When you cast this spell with a spell slot of 4th Level or higher, the damage increases by 1d8 for each level after the 3rd.
