Break the Chains

This power, breaks the limits on your spellcasting, allowing you to cause 1D8 of necrotic damage to yourself; taking the raw power of your own magic to allow you to cast a cantrip or level 1 lightning spell as a bonus action.

Price of Power: Using this ability pulls directly from the users life. Doing so causes damage to the soul of the wielder. After each use roll a Constitution saving throw DC 14 to avoid gaining a point of corruption.
