Chain of Lightning

You hurl a small lightning bolt at a creature or an object within range. Make a ranged spell attack against the target. On a hit, the target takes 2 Lightning damage per bounce. This attack can bounce to any creature within 5ft of the target up to 1D8. You control how the lightning from this attack bounces. A flammable object hit by this spell starts burning if it isn’t being worn or carried.

Cantrip Upgrade. The damage increases by 2 when you reach levels 5 (4), 11 (6), and 17 (8). This attacks bounce also changes from at level 5 to 1D10 then at 11 to 1D12 then at 17 1D20.
