You conjure a small ball of water and hurl it at a point you can see within range. The ball then expands in an explosive blast of water. Each creature in a 20-foot-radius sphere centered on that point must make a Strenght saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 4d8 bludgeoning damage and is pushed 20 feet away from the center of the sphere. On a successful save, a creature takes half as much damage and is pushed half as far.

The water spreads out across the ground, extinguishing unprotected flames and forming a thin puddle in the area.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4thd level or higher, the damage increases by 1d8, for each slot level above 3rd.
