Choose a creature that you can see within range. The target must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or become covered head to toe in barnacles of varying sizes for the spell's duration or until a creature uses its action to scrape the barnacles off itself or another creature. A creature covered in barnacles has disadvantage on weapon attacks, Dexterity saving throws and charisma checks. At the end of each turn the creature is still covered in barnacles, it takes 1d6 acid damage.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the damage increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 2nd.
