You bind a suit of nonmagical armor to a gemstone, storing its form within the gem. At the end of the casting, the armor vanishes, leaving behind an etching of the armor on the gemstone's surface.
As long as the gemstone is within 5 feet of a creature, that creature can use its reaction to speak a command word, causing the armor to instantly appear and don itself onto the creature. When donned, the armor melds with the creature's clothing and worn items, which reappear when the armor is removed. Magical items worn by the creature remain functional. The creature is considered proficient with the armor for 1 minute.
After 1 minute, the armor disappears back into the gemstone. The armor can be summoned and retracted this way up to 5 times. After the fifth use, the gemstone crumbles to dust, and the armor is lost.
At Higer Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or of higher, the number of times the gem can be used before crumbling to dust increases by 1 for every slot level.
