Spoken of in legend, red lightning is the weapon wielded by the

ancient dragons.

You conjure a storm of red lightning harnessing the power of dragons past. All creatures within a 30 foot radius centered around the caster must make a dexterity saving throw or take 6D12 lighting damage on a fail or half as much on a success. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 8th level or higher, the damage increases by 1D12 and the range increases by 5 feet for each slot above 7th.
