You conjure a skein of entangling electricity that leaps out from your hands like a net. All creatures within a 20 foot cone in front of you must make a Dexterity saving throw against your spell save DC or be restrained and take 3d6 lightning damage. On a successful save, the creature takes half that damage and is not restrained. Creatures that are huge or larger are unaffected by the restrained effect but still take damage.
A creature restrained by this effect can take an action to make a Strength saving throw against your spell save DC. On a success the creature frees itself from the net, on a failure they take an additional 1d6 lightning damage. A creature that is reduced to 0 hit points due to this effect is automatically stabilized.
