When you cast this spell, choose 1 ally creature and 1 hostile creature. Roll a d4, and subtract the result from 4. Roll a number of d6's equal to the number rolled on the d4. The allied creature regains that many hit points. Then, roll a number of d6's equal to the result of the subtraction performed. The hostile creature takes the amount rolled as force damage.
You may cast this spell while stunned, ignoring any rules about being unable to take an action due to being incapacitated due to that condition (If you are also incapacitated from another source, you cannot cast this spell). If you cast this spell while stunned, roll a 1d2. If you roll a 1, the targeted ally takes force damage instead of regaining hit points, and the hostile creature regains hit points instead of taking force damage.
At Higher Levels: If this spell is cast with a 5th level spell slot, roll a d6 and subtract it from 6. If this spell is cast with a 6th level spell slot, roll a d8 and subtract it from 8. If this spell is cast with a 7th level spell slot, roll a d10 and subtract it from 10. If this spell is cast with a 8th level spell slot, roll a d12 and subtract it from 12. If this spell is cast with a 9th level spell slot, roll a d20 and subtract it from 20.
