Acid Bolt

You hurl a bolt of acid at a creature or object within range. On a hit the target takes 2d4 acid damage. A creature must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or take an additional 1d4 acid damage at the end of their next turn. An object targeted by this spell obtains a marking of your choice. Markings can be small symbols or letters no bigger than the palm of your hand.

This spells damage (both intial and later) increases by 1d4 when you reach 5th level (3d4+2d4), 11th level (4d4+3d4) and 17th level (5d4+4d4).
