Beats of the jungle bring forth a small troop of 20 excited, rowdy bonobos (Pan paniscus), having a party and getting a little too rough with anybody in their way. A 30-foot radius sphere fills within range, becoming a small forest stand with bonobos in the trees and on the ground. This forest stand is placed around corners and remains for the duration of the spell. The area is difficult terrain and lightly obscured.
When the patch appears and the party begins, all creatures within it (except for bonobos or chimpanzees) must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 4d12 bludgeoning damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. A creature must also make this throw when entering the spell's area for the first time, or when ending its turn within the grassy party patch.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 7th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d12 for each slot level above 6th.
