Powdered gemstones spiral around the casters hand, coalescing in a maelstrom around 2 spinning silver rods, alight with planar fury. These disks serve two purposes, combat and defense. When the spell is successfully cast, you choose their damage type between fire, cold, lightning, acid, necrotic, radiant, bludgeoning or slashing. This can be changed as a bonus action as well. You gain resistance and advantage on saving throws against the chosen element. As a reaction, you can choose to gain +2 AC. As a bonus action(this can be part of the same bonus action to change elements) you can hurl a rippling disk of the chosen element as a ranged spell attack, imparting an effect below based on the chosen damage type on a hit:

Fire: this disk deals 6d6 fire damage upon impact as its scores the body of its victim with the power of the Plane of Fire. If hit, the target must make a Constitution Saving Throw or take 1d6 damage on each of its turn, repeating the saving throw at the end of their turn until they succeed, thus ending the effect.

Cold: This arctic disk deals 6d6 cold damage on impact as it tears and freezes its target with the power of the Plane of Ice. The afflicted target must make a Constitution Saving Throw or have its movement speed halved until the save is passed. It can repeat the saving throw on the end of each of its turns.

Lightning: This disk borne of the Plane of Storms deals 6d6 lightning damage on impact. The target must make a Constitution Saving Throw or be unable to make reactions until the start of its next turn.

Acid: This disk formed from the fetid dirge of Hades deals 6d6 acid damage and reduces its AC by 1 until its next turn. The acid damage can be replaced with the effects of a different acid if the DM allows if asked for this option by the caster.

Radiant and Necrotic: these disks respectively borne of the Positive and Negative Energy Planes deal 6d6 of their damage types. As an action, you can hurl radiance at a target to heal then 6d6 instead or if necrotic, raise one body as an undead according the effect Create Undead. These extraneous effects can only be used once per casting of this spell.

Bludgeoning and Slashing: These disks are formed from the Planes of Water or Air respectively can deal 6d6 of their respective damage type on impact. As a reaction you can make these disks ricochet to a new target and repeating the spell attack. These disks can only ricochet once by this effect.
