Once bonded, a paladin & druid have an instinctive bond that allows them to fight as a seamless unit. The pair gain the following benefits while mounted on the wildshaped druid or Acting as a wildshaped mount for the paladin.
- The paladin can make any spell they cast with a range of self also target the wildshaped druid at no extra cost while mounted.
- When Bonded Druid & paladin are within 1 mile of each other & the druid in wildshape form, they can communicate telepathically with each other
- Provided there is a clear line of site and the paladin is not subject to movement restrictions such as being grappled, restrained, or paralyzed, a bonded paladin can teleport up to 30 feet to a mounted position atop a wildshaped bonded druid. Doing so provokes attacks of opportunity at the start of the teleport & ends the paladin's turn.
- A druid who is bonded with this spell can expend spell slots while in wild shaped form as a bonus action to heal the paladin for 1d8 per level of the spell slot expended
- The bonded druid & paladin can choose to act on each other's initiative instead of their own.
- The pair can choose to use their passive perception score or the passive perception of the other.
A Paladin or Druid can’t have more than one Druid or Paladin or bonded by this spell at a time. As an action, either can sever the bond.
