You conjure a cloud of wildly thrashing thorny vines in a 5-foot Cube centered on a point within range. Each creature in that area takes 2d4 piercing damage and 2d4 bludgeoning if it enters, starts or ends its turn there.

Using a Higher-Level Spell Slot. The damage increases by 1d4 for each spell slot level above 2 for both damage types.
