Ayda twists the prism between her fingers in the casting. As she does so, it dissolves into a rainbow of light which flashes brightly, before fading over the whole area. When cast she gains the ability to, as a reaction when another creature within sight makes a saving throw against a magical effect, determine what saving throw is made.
When upcast at the 7th level, Ayda can use this ability once per round without spending her reaction. When upcast at the 8th level she can use this ability twice per round without spending her reaction. When upcast to the ninth level, she can use the ability at will for the duration of the spell, no action required.
This spell has a unique property: It can be cast using both an 8th and 9th level spell slot at once. If this occurs, both spell slots are consumed and the spell becomes a non concentration spell that lasts for 2 minutes and cannot be dispelled. For the purposes of counterspell, it is considered a 10th level spell.
