You reach out with tendrils of void energy, attempting to pull a creature into the maddening embrace of your Great Old One patron, the Voidweaver. The target must be a creature you can see within range. The target must make a Charisma saving throw. On a failed save, the target is partially consumed by the void. They are incapacitated and pulled 15 feet directly towards you. At the end of your next turn, if the target is still within 5 feet of you, they must repeat the Charisma saving throw. On a second failed save, the target is fully consumed by the void, vanishing utterly and becoming lost forever within the Voidweaver's infinite maw. Any objects or creatures physically carried or worn by the target are also drawn into the void.

On a successful save (either the initial save or the save at the end of your next turn), the target resists the Voidweaver's grasp. They take 4d10 necrotic damage and are pushed 15 feet away from you.

Void's Toll: Each time you cast this spell, you must make a Wisdom saving throw (DC 15). On a failed save, you take 2d10 psychic damage as the void's influence bleeds into your mind. Additionally, each time you fail this Wisdom saving throw, the DC of this save increases by 1 (to a maximum of 20). This increased DC remains until you complete a long rest.

Final Embrace: After you have successfully used this spell to fully consume a creature three times, the next time you cast it, regardless of whether the target succeeds or fails their saving throws, you are also pulled into the void, becoming lost forever within the Voidweaver's grasp.

At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 9th level, the initial necrotic damage increases to 6d10. The psychic damage from Void's Toll also increases to 3d10.
