You create four multi-colored glowing darts of magical force. Each dart hits a creature of your choice that you can see within range. A dart deals 1d4 + 1 force damage to its target. The darts all strike simultaneously, and you can direct them to hit one creature or several.
On a hit the dart causes the creature to be subjected to a magical effect. A creature can only be subject to one magical effect at a time due to the casting of this spell, and if a creature is his by multiple darts the caster must choose what effect to attempt to inflict upon a creature. The type of magical effect is dependent of the number rolled on the die:
1. On a roll of 1, the target must make a Strength Saving Throw, on a failure a creature is knocked prone
2. On a roll of 2, the target must make a Wisdom Saving Throw, on a failure a creature is frightened for one minute, a creature can make another saving throw at the end of its turn in order to shrug off the effect
3. On a roll of 3, the target must make a Constitution Saving Throw, on a failure a creature is blinded for one minute, a creature can make another saving throw at the end of its turn in order to shrug off the effect
4. On a roll of 4, the target must make a Constitution Saving Throw, on a failure a creature gains one point of exhaustion, this is the only effect that can stack on a single creature with each subsequent hit requiring another saving throw.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the spell creates one more dart for each slot level above 3rd.
