Arcane Chains

You conjure spectral chains of raw arcane energy that lash out at a creature within range. On a hit the target take 2d8 force damage. If you hit the target with 2 chains from this spell then the target must make a grapple check on a fail the target's movement speed is reduced by 10 feet. Each chain lasts 1 minute or they can repeat the check to break the chain.

This spell's damage increases when you reach higher levels:

• At 5th level, the damage increases to 3d8.
• At 11th level, the damage increases to 4d8.
• At 17th level, the damage increases to 5d8.
