When you cast egg, roll a D6

1. You summon 1d6 eggs in an unoccupied space within 5 feet of you in any direction.

2. You summon 2d6 eggs that shoot in random directions from you (roll a D8 for each egg, starting from where you are facing and going clockwise) Each creature hit with an egg takes 1d6 magic bludgeoning damage.

3. The egg you use to cast the spell hatches into 1d12+2 chickens. The chickens are friendly to you and your party, but may not be given commands. However, If the number of chickens summoned is greater than 9, they are instead hostile to you.

4. You summon 2d8 hardboiled eggs, that when consumed restore 2hp.

5. You summon one large egg, roll a d6. The egg hatches a friendly beast

(1) 1d4 Eagles

(2) Giant Owl

(3) Crocodile

(4) Spider Swarm

(5) 1d4 Flying Snakes

(6) A giant chicken (giant eagle stats)

6. Roll twice, ignoring another 6. The effects you roll are doubled.

35-37	The egg you use to cast the spell hatches into 4 chickens. The chickens are friendly to you and your party, but may not be given commands.
38-40	The egg you use to cast the spell hatches into 6 chickens. The chickens are friendly to you and your party, but may not be given commands.
41-43	The egg you use to cast the spell hatches into 8 chickens. The chickens are friendly to you and your party, but may not be given commands.
46-48	The egg you use to cast the spell hatches into 10 chickens. The chickens are hostile to you.
49-50	The egg you use to cast the spell hatches into 12 chickens. The chickens are hostile to you.

51-52	You summon 2 hardboiled eggs, that when consumed restore 2hp.

Is the egg from effect 5 hatched immediately? Is the effect of 4 per each egg or when you eat all of them?

There is a spell like this already, just not for a cleric. I prefer clerics and magic users to have different spells.

What Cleric spell does anything like this?

Also, where the spell says to "ignore" rolls of 6 (or 85-100) do you literally just count that an a null roll, or do you reroll a 6 until you get a result that is 1-5?

the creatures hatched from an egg should only last 24 hours otherwise you could easily as a high level player build an army in a month of like 30 beasts

In my opinion, the spell is WAY to overpowered for a level 2 spell. I think it is more of, i don't know, level 7 or so. If this was made to be op, hen i have nothing to say. *raises hands in innocence*
