When you cast this spell as a ranged spell attack against a single target that you can see, out to any distance, the target takes 1d10 piercing damage, plus 1d10 force damage, and gains the deafened condition for 1 minute.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the damage increases by 1d10 for each slot level above 1st.
