A 30ft radius circle of blood appears on the ground at a point you can see within range. Hostile creatures in the spell's area suffer the following effect the first time they enter the circle and if they start their turn in it.
Life Leech: You pull on the very blood or life essence of the targeted creature, draining it out of them into the circle of blood on the ground. The creature makes a constitution saving throw. On failed save, the creature takes 3d6 necrotic damage and its movement is halved until the start of its next turn. On a success, that creature takes half damage and suffers no other conditions.
As a bonus action, you can then apply the following effect to one creature of your choice:
Life transfusion: One ally of your choice in the radius becomes enveloped in blood, restoring their wounds and granting a temporary boon to them. The target gains 2d6 hit points. They gain resistance to non-magical bludgeoning, slashing, and piercing damage until the start of your next turn.
