Description:
You extend your hand toward the corpse of a creature that has died within the last minute, calling forth its shadow to rise in servitude. The creature animates as a Shadow Minion, a spectral undead bound to your will. It retains its original form but is wreathed in dark energy, its body partially intangible.
- The Shadow Minion follows your mental commands and takes its turn immediately after yours.
- you can Shadow Swap with the minion and use the minions perception as your own.
- you can cast through shadow you can use the shadow minion to cast though them.
- Its statistics are identical to its living form, except:
- Its HP is reduced to half its original maximum.
- It gains resistance to nonmagical damage.
- It loses all spellcasting abilities if it had any.
- It gains darkvision 60 feet (if it didn’t already have it).
- Its damage type changes to necrotic unless you choose otherwise.
At the end of the spell's duration, the minion dissolves into shadow. If you cast this spell on a new corpse, the previous minion fades.
At Higher Levels.
When cast using a 4th-level spell slot or higher, you can animate up to two creatures simultaneously. When cast with a 6th-level spell slot or higher, you can animate up to four creatures simultaneously. when cast with an 8th-level spell slot or higher, you can animate up to six creatures.
Can also be cast outside of combat
