You cloak yourself in shadowy illusion, altering your appearance, including your clothing, armor, weapons, and any other items you carry, for the duration of the spell. You can appear up to 1 foot taller or shorter and adjust your build and apparent weight, but the new form must retain the same basic arrangement of limbs as your own. Within these limits, the illusion can be shaped as you desire and lasts until you dismiss the spell, cast another spell that alters your appearance such as Disguise Self or Alter Self, or until you die. Furthermore, the spell ends if you enter an antimagic field, or if it is dispelled using Dispel Magic.
The guise is purely visual and offers no physical substance. If you create the appearance of an accessory—such as a hat or cloak—it lacks tangible form. Objects will pass through it, and anyone who touches it will feel nothing unusual.
A creature can attempt to pierce through your illusion by using the Study action to scrutinize your appearance. If they do, they must succeed on an Intelligence (Investigation) check against your spell save DC to notice the illusion, however, they cannot discern your original appearance beyond characteristics like height and build.
