try your luck at dark powers of necromancy to bring the fallen into your control.
Choose a pile of bones or a corpse within range. The target could possibly become an Undead creature if your DM permits it, they will have a revised stat sheet. unless your DM just wants to use the old one.
You have a 10% chance to succeed in using arise, there are other bonuses or penalties that come into account when determining if you succeed or not. First, roll a D10 if you rolled a 1 then you succeeded. To understand the other bonuses and penalties read below:
-if the creatures challenge rating (CR) is lower than the casters level you have an additional 10% increased chance to succeed per every level equal to CR (for example if your level is 5 and the targets CR is 3 then you have a 30% chance to succeed (you must roll a 3 or lower). 10% base for the spell and 20% additionally since the target is 2 levels under the players level.)
-an attempt to raise a target that is higher CR than your level is nearly impossible. you must first succeed a WIS save against your own DC, then you must roll a D100 and total must be equal to your level or lower.
you may raise and control as many targets as you want but can only ever use a total of 2 in a combat encounter if they are under your control from this spell. unless the DM permits you to use more.
if 1 of your summons dies you must spend 24 hours per CR of the creature to recast this spell at 3rd level and expend additional spell slots = to the CR of the fallen creature. (for example if the summon was CR 5 you must first cast the spell then expend spell slots equal to 2nd level, could be 2 1st level slots or 1 2nd level slot.
Using a Higher-Level Spell Slot. for every spell slot over 3rd level you would use to cast this spell increase the chances of you binding the dead target by 10% (for example at 4th level the caster would have a base 20% chance to succeed.)
